  Terry has more than 10 years’ experience positioning and promoting high technology companies. She has extensive experience building PR programs that meet the unique requirements of emerging technologies in the rapidly growing and evolving markets of broadband, Internet and telecommunications. She has counseled clients through private and public financing, strategic partnerships, global and product launches, and mergers and acquisitions.

Terry’s public relations expertise has resulted in high-profile local, national and international business and trade coverage for clients in Associated Press, Business2.0, Industry Standard, USA Today, Bloomberg’s CEO Forum, CNBC’s “Squawk Box”, C/NET, Boston Globe, Forbes, Investor’s Business Daily, Upside, The Wall Street Journal, BusinessWeek, Red Herring, Reuters TV, Internet World, Internet Week,, eWEEK, Infoworld, tele.com, Telephony, Wireless Week, RCR and America’s Network.

Prior to joining High Tech Public Relations, Terry was account director at The Weber Group, one of the world’s largest high-tech PR firms. At The Weber Group, Terry managed public relations programs for emerging companies in the telecom and Internet markets, including Lightbridge, The Fantastic Corporation, Digital Renaissance, SoftLock.com and Servicesoft Technologies. Prior to The Weber Group, Terry managed the public relations and marketing communications programs at Datawatch Corporation, a leading developer and marketer of cross-platform business software products. In this position, she developed and implemented strategic PR plans for four primary products, which involved product positioning, competitive research, product launches, media and analyst tours and tradeshows.

Before Datawatch, Terry contributed to the successful public relations and marketing communications at AimTech Corporation, an international developer of interactive multimedia authoring tools. At AimTech, she worked closely with an outside agency to execute an aggressive national and international PR campaign aimed at positioning AimTech as a leading provider of multimedia authoring solutions. In addition to managing tradeshows, seminars and the annual user conference at AimTech, Terry wrote and designed customer profiles, product sheets, and an on-line tutorial for a CD-ROM test drive.

Terry holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa, with a concentration in Public Relations and Mass Communications.
